Nana Fredua Agyeman Pambuo is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of ContiMed Ventures. Nana Pambuo’s quest to enhance the quality of life and dedication to provide every stage of the medication and equipment lifecycle for dialysis patients in West Africa is borne out of his personal tragedy of losing his mother to Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in Ghana.

Nana’s experience in Supply Chain Management and Market Penetration is unparalleled. He was the West Africa Contract and Procurement Director for Shell International responsible for Sourcing (Chemicals and Equipment), Contracts and Tender Management for 12 countries in sub-Sahara Africa. Prior to this he was the Regional Director responsible for New Markets, Materials and Sourcing (Chemicals and Raw Materials) for the Africa and Middle East Division for Colgate Palmolive in charge of 17 countries.

He started his career with Arthur Andersen & Co in New York, USA where he handled complex consultancy projects, mergers & acquisitions, investment and financial advisory, and performed statutory audits for listed companies on the NYSE with market capitalization in excess of US$50B.

Nana’s international corporate experience and positive impact in Ghana have been recognized with appointments to the board of directors of SSNIT, Merchant Bank, Ghana Supply Company Limited, Ghana Shippers’ Council, Labadi Beach Hotel, African University College of Communications Business School, and as the premier chairman of the Board for the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Charity Foundation, SSNIT Informal Sector Fund and Switchback Development Limited.

Nana Pambuo has been a consultant to the World Bank, Commonwealth Secretariat, African Development Bank, Government of Ghana and was a principal consultant for the write-up and enactment into law of the Public Procurement Act. In the area of diplomacy, conflict resolution and traditional leadership, Nana served as the Benkumhene of the Ankaase/Dominase Traditional Area in the Asante Kingdom.

Nana Pambuo holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration from Delaware State University and Pace University respectively. He also holds a WSET Advanced Level Certificate. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors-Ghana and a member of the Association of Ghana Industries.
